‘AFTER THE NIGHT ENDS’ EP

Summer lasts forever with Semiah's long awaited alternative electro-RnB EP, 'After The Night Ends', hitting all streaming platforms June 30, 2023. Semiah's four-song debut EP is an intimate collection of 2 am thoughts summoning reflections of love, fear, resilience, and recklessness. 'After the Night Ends' strikes like a jolt of fresh air on an open road to explore new depths of who you are and who you can become.

Semiah's songs radiate energy of an artist with an international heart who grew up touring around the world: from art festivals in the Australian outback to the beaches of Trinidad since the age of 7. Born with a honey tone conditioned through years of singing traditional social songs from her Onkwehonwe background, Semiah sings with unapologetic honesty beyond her 24 years.

Semiah's atypical voice, harmonies, and melodies were shaped by the Indigenous women's accapella group, Ulali, with most mentorship from member, Jen Kreisberg. Semiah's distinctive vocal sound is now supported by melodic and production elements of RnB, Electronic, Lofi, Hip-Hop, Psychedelic-rock, and Dreampop. Semiah is inspired by the lyrics of Frank Ocean & Rage Against the Machine; the vocal stylings of Summer Walker, SZA & Willow and aspires to the production values of Tame Impala and MGMT.
